美國近日槍擊案頻傳，不少政客跳出來主張槍枝管制，
對此，台灣多數人只有「我對這沒興趣」或「還好台灣槍枝管制很嚴」之類的意見，
然而，槍枝或任何武裝管制的問題，
在於其讓特定的「階級」得以擁有最優勢的武力－－這階級毫無疑問就是統治階級，
統治階級以某種形式的武裝管制維持權力、是從古到今的都不變的道理，
古代日本的平民無權使用長刀，
琉球王國對平民－－許多是農民－－進行全面禁武，
葡萄牙人嚴禁來自非洲的黑人奴隸使用武器以致於練習任何武術，
連號稱最支持武裝自由的美國都曾經禁止黑人擁有槍枝，
在那個不相信「人生而平等」的時代，許多人就是這樣被剝奪了選擇武裝以自保的自由，
當然，山不轉路轉、路不轉人轉，
在那樣的時代，日本人可能學杖術、琉球農民練唐手＝空手道，
巴西的黑人在手都被銬住的情況下仍以舞蹈偽裝練習卡波耶拉Capoeira，
美國的黑奴同樣可能私藏其他武器保護自己，
這些人即使被輕視、踐踏而活在不平等的困苦環境裡，仍找到了某種自保的方式，
而當場景轉換到現代，這個不承認君王、神權而歌頌民主，所謂「人生而平等」的現代，
你看到甚麼？
你應該要看到，政府以保護你為由、剝奪了你擁有武裝的權力，
在絕大多數的國家，只有警察與軍人得以持有武裝，而最受警察與軍人保護的就是政客，
隨便哪個國家，警察都沒有能力解決黑槍問題，黑道甚至跟政府有某種合作關係，
然而那不重要，重要的是納稅人＝統治階級以外的賤民不得擁有武裝，
沒有了武裝，管你怎麼吶喊、遊行與抗議，都不可能對統治階級＝政府造成絕對的威脅，
當然，這裡並不想訴求武裝推翻任何政府，暴力不能解決問題，
諸如法國大革命或辛亥革命之類的著名事件對當時的人是福是禍，其實不是簡單的問題，
然而這裡要講的是－－武裝是你自保的某個選項，而政府剝奪了你這個選項，
政府－－以及所有支持政府的人－－會告訴你說不需要擁有武裝、反正警察會保護你，
然而政府沒有告訴你的是，
當歹徒與強姦犯在你眼前10公尺時，警察不可能趕到你身邊，
當歹徒血洗了你家、警察趕到時你的妻女已躺在血泊中時，政府不用負任何責任，
當戰爭發生了、敵人真的打到國境內了，最優秀的軍人會被派出保護政客，
當國家即將淪陷，能坐著飛機、由空軍護航離開的，就是總統那票人，
就算哪天殭屍肆虐了，能躲在最堅固又物資充足的堡壘裡的，還是總統那票人，
非統治階級的賤民要死要活，本來就不是政府的首要考量，
所以，為什麼你應該支持武裝自由化？
因為唯有武裝自由化，你才得以選擇最適合你的自保方式，
你可以自行選購武器、與同好組成區域的治安團隊，
或雇用你信任的組織、由擁有武裝的他們來保護你－－所謂的武裝保全，
而這其中最重要的意義，
在於你認識到你必須為自己負責－－為自己的健康負責，也為自己性命負責，
注意安全是你自己的責任，而不是把這責任交付給龐大、陳腐、濫權又虛幻的政府。
遺憾的是，曾經如此堅信掌握自身命運重要性的美國，也不斷往集體主義的地獄沉淪，
向來沒有個人主義傳統、連像樣的左右派典範都未曾行成的台灣就更不用說了，
在這樣的國度，你能怎樣保護自己？
其實，選擇也還蠻多的，練身體、學武術、購買防身商品、提高對週遭環境的敏銳度，
只要你沒有「警察會在必要的時候保護我」的幻想，你應該就是安全的。
